I have friends who swear by consignment sales — not stores, but sales. Sales like Rhea Lana, specifically.
I was so excited to hear that there’s a Rhea Lana Consignment Sale coming up soon. I’ve got some stuff I’d love to get rid of, as well as some things I need to purchase. I’ve never attended a Rhea Lana sale, but have heard super things about them.
I hate that I’m going to miss this one, but our second child is due this week (EEK!), and I’m thinking I’ll be holed up at home enjoying a newborn schedule (if I’m not still at the hospital, that is!). The event is scheduled March 10-14 at Briarcliff Village Shopping Center, located near Northlake Mall.
Rhea Lana consignors receive 70% – 80% — which is one of the highest-paying consignment events I’ve ever heard of! They also guarantee consignors’ items against loss or theft: if an item has not sold and is not in the store on pick-up day, they pay for the item as if it had sold.
Consignors can track sales online in real time throughout the sale – as soon as a cashier scans a barcode, the items shows as “sold” in your account. They also pay consignors immediately on pick-up day at the end of the event — in other words, you don’t have to wait for funds to arrive weeks later.
Other perks about Rhea Lana: There is a special private pre-sale for expectant moms. Moms-to-be can register on our website to shop before we open to the public. Moms-to-be can get first dibs on equipment, maternity clothes, nursing gear, and everything else you need for their new loved one. These events are also completely volunteer run.
Have you ever attended a Rhea Lana Consignment Sale? What did you think?
